As Congress legislators Irfan Hafiz Lone and Iftikhar Ahmad continued their protests, the BJP legislator said that he would withdraw his remarks if they were found to be against any community. “If I have made such remarks, I will take them back,” he said, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) NC and PDP members also supported the Congress legislators’ demand for an apology from Randhawa to Kashmiris.
